Regular symmetric Hadamard matrices with constant diagonal
We survey constructions of regular symmetric Hadamard matrices with constant diagonal, and point out some errors in the literature.
متن کاملBornological Completion of Locally Convex Cones
In this paper, firstly, we obtain some new results about bornological convergence in locally convex cones (which was studied in [1]) and then we introduce the concept of bornological completion for locally convex cones. Also, we prove that the completion of a bornological locally convex cone is bornological. We illustrate the main result by an example.
متن کاملSingular values of convex functions of matrices
Let $A_{i},B_{i},X_{i},i=1,dots,m,$ be $n$-by-$n$ matrices such that $sum_{i=1}^{m}leftvert A_{i}rightvert ^{2}$ and $sum_{i=1}^{m}leftvert B_{i}rightvert ^{2}$ are nonzero matrices and each $X_{i}$ is positive semidefinite. It is shown that if $f$ is a nonnegative increasing convex function on $left[ 0,infty right) $ satisfying $fleft( 0right) =0 $, then $$2s_{j}left( fleft( fra...
متن کاملCones of Matrices and Successive Convex Relaxations of Nonconvex Sets
Let F be a compact subset of the n-dimensional Euclidean space Rn represented by (finitely or infinitely many) quadratic inequalities. We propose two methods, one based on successive semidefinite programming (SDP) relaxations and the other on successive linear programming (LP) relaxations. Each of our methods generates a sequence of compact convex subsets Ck (k = 1, 2, . . . ) of Rn such that (...
متن کاملE-Clean Matrices and Unit-Regular Matrices
Let $a, b, k,in K$ and $u, v in U(K)$. We show for any idempotent $ein K$, $(a 0|b 0)$ is e-clean iff $(a 0|u(vb + ka) 0)$ is e-clean and if $(a 0|b 0)$ is 0-clean, $(ua 0|u(vb + ka) 0)$ is too.
